Easter 2016

Easter Weekend 2016
March 25th - 28th
Mary Grace and Miller were so excited to kick their Easter off with a little egg dying.

This is my favorite- look how Mary Grace is keeping such a close eye on Miller!

In hindsight, I probably should have dressed Miller a little better for the occasion. Although considering he was coated in browish/green afterword...maybe not!
We didn't do anything fancy with our eggs this year because before they were dry I threw them in our outside trash and we headed to Knoxville.
A stop at one of our favorite places, My Father's Pizza

 Play day with cousins-
Linley, Mary Grace, Blair and Miller
These two built the Easter story out of blocks
(cross, tomb, empty tomb!)
 The Easter Bunny came!

One of the things in Miller's basket was new pool shoes. He wore a hole in his pair from last year. The Easter Bunny just happened to buy him the exact same pair. When Miller saw the shoes he assumed they were his old ones and was astonished that the hole disappeared.

It's amazing the lengths I had to go to to get this picture.

This year the older kids had clues to find their eggs. They LOVED it!

After the bigger kids were done with their hunt, we sent Linley and Miller inside so we could hide eggs for them. After a few minutes someone caught them standing at the window watching- too funny!

After the hunts were over the kids played in the backyard the rest of the day. Mary Grace found a whole jar of bugs. Love my little tomboy in her super girly dress (which she LOVES!)
Lauren and I spent about an hour blowing bubbles for Linley and Miller. Owen took this awesome/artsy picture to capture the scene.
On Monday we drove straight to Robert and Daniel's house for a little family time. Miller and Robert had SO much fun (and wore themselves out) playing in the back yard.

Such a fun Easter! We were very thankful for so much family time!
