Savannah, GA

August 1st

Since we overslept the hotel breakfast (and by "we overslept" I mean the kids were wide awake at 7AM and we somehow managed to keep them relatively quiet with cartoons for a few hours) we started our day at Panera.

We had such beautiful settings the whole week, but ironically this might be the best smiling picture I got of the two of them all week!

 After breakfast we headed to the Savannah Wildlife Center

(Miller would not turn around for the picture...his stubbornness came out a lot during the trip!)

 The wildlife center is a very natural zoo-like place with lots of animals being rehabbed.

 My friend Amy recommended an amazing BBQ place in Savannah.

We loved it!

 Exhaustion hit Miller pretty hard during lunch!

 Miller had been asking every 5 minutes since we left Charlotte (and really, for the entire week before we left)- "when are we going to go to the beach?"

After lunch we decided to drive over to Tybee Island so he would finally stop asking! 

 Two kids very excited to have their toes in the sand!
