Atlanta Weekend

Our Family Weekend In Atlanta
August 4th - 6th, 2017

This year we started our family weekend in Atlanta at the brand new Braves stadium. It's a gorgeous venue and I'm really excited about coming back again soon (and hopefully the Braves getting better!)

Our plans for the night were VERY last minute because we weren't entirely sure when Brent could get away from work. Megan was able to drop everything and meet us at the game for an hour. It was great to catch up- even if just for a minute!

One of the best parts of the new stadium is that they designed a whole area for Uber. These kids are HUGE Uber fans (which is really random and funny!)
The next day we got the privilege of meeting Gibbs. He is absolutely the sweetest baby and we're so happy for our friends Laura and Andrew.
Since our extra day in Atlanta was a little unplanned, we ended up with about an hour to kill. Brent found the best park and the kids enjoyed a little nature walk.

We met up with our friends Todd, Amy, Cooper and Maddie Grace for a late lunch. We have been friends since we all lived in Tennessee (them in Memphis and us in Knoxville.) The last time we got together we were living in Chicago and they were in Indianapolis. Now we're in Charlotte and they're in Birmingham.
I'd be willing to bet these 4 kids have more combined moves than just about any other kids in America! (Thanks Liberty!)
On Saturday we got to see several of our family friends. The kids spent most of the time in the pool so I didn't get too many pictures. I already posted one in my Sunday 7, but here is another one with our old Nanny, Patti.
That night we went to the Sutterfield's house for dinner and a movie. These kids had SO much fun together!

James, Miller, Daniel, Robert, Mary Grace and John Knox
Sunday after church we spent the day at Stone Mountain. This was Brent and the kids first time there.

Mary Grace got selected to participate in the dinosaur training show.
Robert, Daniel and Miller watching the glass blowing demonstration.
This girl is officially the worlds best traveler. She has been SO helpful this summer!
Another travel casualty. 2nd broken windshield of the summer.

Such a fun weekend in Atlanta! Thanks Nana!
