D11- Pools

Day 11: Wednesday, May 23rd

After our long day away from the resort we were ready to have a very relaxing day! Mary Grace was anxious to get back to the awesome pools. On our way we noticed some food cups out by the koi pond. She was very happy to pause a moment to feed the fish.

And then couldn't wait to be in the pool!

Attached to the pool with the play structure was a beach area with real sand/rock. It was really neat! The pools shared the same water with just a ledge to separate them.
Miller took a nice morning nap.
And then woke up ready to play!

Miller was actually unbelievable adaptable on this vacation. I worried that he wouldn't sleep or nap well, but he proved me wrong. He enjoyed being out in the stroller and, for the most part, was happy just sitting and watching all the action.
Although he was a bit of a 'blob', I'm glad he wasn't yet crawling or walking. It would have been much more difficult to watch two kids on the move.

Mary Grace was an absolute fish. She truly could not get enough of the pool!

Rough life! At the pool, in Hawaii.

After spending an entire day at the pool we decided to walk up to the Shops at Wailea for dinner.

Unfortunately, we were so exhausted and hungry from swimming that we didn't properly research our dinner options. We stopped at the first food place we saw and the food was disgusting. I've honestly never left a restaurant that disappointed (neither Brent nor I ate ANY of our food). We walked around for a little while after dinner. The shopping was a little out of our league, but it was fun to look! We ended up getting some amazing ice cream and a few souvenirs.
