Last weekend we had our 2nd Annual Backyard camp out!
We grilled hot dogs and pineapple. A very authentic 'camping' meal. But then we came inside to eat so the flies wouldn't bother us (we're clearly very outdoorsy people!)
After dinner we roasted marshmallows and made some awesome s'mores!
We read some ghost stories Pinkalicious.
And then we realized a flaw in our plans. Our kids were never, ever going to go to sleep!
We ended up moving Miller inside. And then Brent and I went inside ourselves. Alone in the tent, Mary Grace eventually fell asleep. To his credit, Brent went back out to the tent and slept out there. I, on the other hand, had a fabulous night sleep on our couch!
