October 19th - 21st 

My absolute favorite weekend of the year is when my Atlanta friends come to visit! Although the weather wasn't perfect, it didn't stop the fun and laughter!

 

Saturday we started the day with a horse farm tour. Our bus picked us up at 9 and took us to Darby Dan Farm. It is a famous farm here in Lexington that specializes in breeding race horses.

 Our tour at Darby Dan was really cool and informative. There are several famous horses there for breeding right now. We got to meet 'Dialed In' (he was the KY Derby favorite in 2011)

 Next we went to Hill 'n' Dale Farm where Seattle Slew is buried.

 We spent a bit more time touring around and then grabbed some lunch at Wallace Station before being dropped off at Keeneland.

 Tennessee Girls can wear red!

 The plan had been to go from Keeneland to the UK/UGA Football game. But the weather was cold and rainy so we ended up ordering pizza and watching all the football games at our house.

So thankful for such amazing friends!
